HBE 3STYLE SESSIONS

HBE 3STYLE Sessions are live, filmed freestyle sessions created to showcase underground artists from Northern Ireland in a proper performance setting.

Each session brings together three artists, a live DJ, and a professional filming setup. Artists perform back to back, in one room, while everything is recorded live.

This is not about streams, followers, or online hype.
It’s about performance, delivery, and presence.

Sessions are curated by HBE to make sure the standard stays high and the energy stays right.

How the HBE 3STYLE Sessions work

The HBE 3STYLE Sessions follow a simple but strict format.

Each session includes:

  • 3 artists

  • 1 DJ

  • Live recording

Artists perform one after the other, back to back. There are no second takes and no stopping to reset energy.

Everything you hear and see is captured live in the room.

This format is designed to show how artists perform under real conditions, not in a studio edit or playback setting.

Beats & music use

Artists choose their own beats for the session.

Beats must fall into one of the following:

  • Purchased beats

  • Beats used with producer permission

  • Beats released non-financially (no monetisation)

HBE will either:

  • Purchase the beat where needed, or

  • Agree a non-financial release in advance

All beats must be agreed and cleared before recording.
No unapproved beats will be used on the day.

This protects:

  • The artist

  • The producer

  • The platform

Recording rules

• Performed live
• No pre-recorded vocals
• No miming
• No performing over finished tracks

Lyrics can be new or old — as long as they’re delivered live.

• No beef or drama

Missed sessions may not be rescheduled.
